Flower Macro

I hope this has been one of the last macro photos taken in this way, the way in which i don’t have a macro lens or anything to adapt my lens to macro photo 🙂 Tomorrow i will get the Opteka extension tubes and from that moment on i hope to see an increase of quality in this kind of photography speacially on the trip that is coming to Costa Rica and that promisses to be full of motives to use the tubes 🙂

This photo is still another result of this year’s photo trip to Madeira island in which, speacially at the Botanical Garden, you can get a lot of places to take this kind of photo even when the season ain’t the best. Let’s wait then for the arrival of the new equipment (also the Nikkor 50mm f/1,8 next saturday) to see the improvment of quality at this kind of photo.

  1. It certainly can be difficult to get macro images using standard lenses; they just aren’t built for it. You have succeeded in capturing intimate detail in this image though; I can’t wait to see the results with the macro tubes. Cheers!
